Compost production process in the compost factory of Behshahr, Mazandaran Province, is accompanied with different hazards in terms of safety, health and environment due to nature and activities. As a result, there is the possibility of harm to humans, in the event of an accident. In this research William fine, FMEA method was used to evaluate health and safety risks of Behshahr’s compost plant. In these models, aspects recognition and ranking are based on objective observation sand the previous experiences o f accidents.
