A comparison of three observational techniques for using postural analysis in a cable factory
Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) which are related with repetitive and demanding working conditions continue to represent one of the biggest complications all over the world. Assessment of exposure levels to WMSD risk factors can be an appropriate base for planning and implementing interventional ergonomics programs in the workplace. This study is focused on posture analysis of a cable manufacturing company workers. The study was conducted on 03 workers engaged in different process of manufacturing. The different activities of the workers were recorded by video and still photography, and these images were used for analysis. Posture analysis tools RULA, REBA and QEC were used.
