Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) which are related with repetitive and demanding working conditions continue to represent one of the biggest complications all over the world. Assessment of exposure levels to WMSD risk factors can be an appropriate base for planning and implementing interventional ergonomics programs in the workplace. This study is focused on posture analysis of a cable manufacturing company workers. The study was conducted on 03 workers engaged in different process of manufacturing. The different activities of the workers were recorded by video and still photography, and these images were used for analysis. Posture analysis tools RULA, REBA and QEC were used. The multi- walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are one of the most widely used engineered nanoparticles and are expected to enter natural ecosystems. More studies on plants, as a part of food chain, are needed to understand profoundly the toxicity and health risks of CNMs as ecotoxicological stressors. In this study, The effects of multi- walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with a length 30 nm on seed germination and growth of six plant species () were evaluated in petri dish (direct exposure) and in soil in a greenhouse experiment (soil exposure). Data demonstrate that under both culture conditions, low or mild concentrations MWCNT either stimulated or had no effect on seed germination, root growth and vegetative biomass while high concentrations had an inhibitory effect. Nitrogen is one of the most important plant macronutrients. Nitrate accumulation in the plants via excessive use of nitrate fertilizers, sewage wastewater and etc., can affect plant growth and development and so could be a threat for human health, animals and the ecosystem. Since the Mentha longifolia is naturally growing in the margin of contaminated water, could be a candidate for nitrate phytoremediation. As the first step to evaluate phytoremediation potential of this species, effect of potassium nitrate (concentration of zero, 1, 5, 11, 15 mM) on its seed germination characteristics was studied using a completely randomized design.
